Service Technician / Engineer, Sussex, healthcare, support, calibration, medical, pre-sales, post-sales, installation, maintenance, test to component level
Due to continued growth and expansion my client, a market leading provider of quality health care equipment products, have an exciting vacancy for a service engineer.
You will service and repair a range of medical equipment and provide technical support to customers and sales teams within a busy Technical Services Department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for calibration and maintenance of a varied range of portable electronic equipment and other computer based medical products.
You will also provide an in-house quality pre- and post-sales support service with occasional on site installation, routine maintenance, or call-out service to sites.
Skills and Qualifications:
HNC or equivalent in electronics/telecommunications.
Experience in a technical environment.
Must possess component level diagnostic ability and good computer skills.
Must be at ease dealing with customers and have excellent communications skills, both written and oral.
Qualification and CRB checks will be carried out at the later stages of the recruitment process to ensure a safe working environment for all.
