PC Software Engineer - Medical Devices

This internationally recognised design consultancy operates within a number of technical engineering markets including Automotive, Fire & Security, Medical Instrumentation and Consumer engineering.
Due to operations expansion, they seek the skills of a PC Software Engineer to develop software applications for multiple PC operating systems.
You must have a minimum 3-4 years experience writing C++ software applications for the PC and be able to have written applications that communicate with peripheral hardware. Typical technologies may include Winsock, IRDA, USB, Bluetooth etc. Previous experience of developing applications for Win CE and/or Pocket PC is ideal and you must have good basic knowledge of electronic hardware.
A minimum 2:1 degree in software engineering or similar discipline is essential as is an Engineering background
As a valued member of their technical team, you will have a strategic involvement of the complete design life cycle from concept design to prototype.
