We currently require a Graduate Bridge Engineer to join our clients bridges group working on a variety of highway and railway projects, ranging from feasibility studies through to detailed design and construction. On smaller projects, assuming technical responsibility and carrying out day to day project management duties under the guidance of a principal engineer. On larger projects, taking some technical responsibility for a section of workload and acting as an integral part of a project team under the guidance of a supervising engineer.
Skills/Experience:
* 3 to 4 years post graduation experience in inspection, design and assessment of highway and/or railway bridges and associated structures
* Ability to understand the behaviour of structures under various loading conditions
* Experience with computer modelling for structural analysis and ability to correctly interpret analytical results
* Good communication skills and a team player
* BSc, BEng or MEng Civil Enginee
