Our client is one of the largest & best known of the multidisciplinary engineering consultancies. This division specialises in providing transport planning & infrastructure advice throughout the whole lifecycle of development & regeneration projects.
A senior engineer is needed to join the Development Planning team in Glasgow. You will aid in securing planning permission for various sites & will supply support information during masterplanning & regeneration projects. You will be working on a variety of projects throughtout Scotland & the North of England at any given time.
You must have minimum 2 yrs exp. in transport planning (Engineer level) or 5 yrs (Snr Engineer level). You will have good exp. in Transport Assessments, Transport Strategies & Travel Plans. You must have exp. of preliminary road & junction design & analysis using TRICS, ARCADY, OSCADY, PICADY, TRANSYT, LINSIG etc. Report writing & consultation with stakeholders is essential.
