Hardware Design Engineer
My clients are one of the worlds leading manufacturer of high-quality laboratory instrumentation for use in the life-science, pharmaceutical and clinical sectors.
They are a sucessful comany with an annual turnover of£80million and 900 employees.
Their continued growth has created a vacancy for an Electronics Design Engineer.
Essential requirements:
Experience of the full product design lifecycle.
Experience on both Digital and Analogue design.
Experience in microcontroller based hardware design (8 and 16 bit architectures).
Main functions are
1. Design, development and support of bespoke hardware platforms for new
Instruments.
2. Support and further development of existing bespoke hardware.
3. To take a major role in structured system testing, including application software.
4. To author design and customer documentation.
