IC Designer (RF / Mixed Signal) to produce PLL designs for high-speed data or wireless communications using mixed signal or analogue ICs. Circuit design is at transistor level using Spice based design flow, preferably Cadence. You must have:- 2 years relevant experience of design using either CMOS or bipolar technologies and an in-depth knowledge of at least one of the following: RF IC design, circuit design for high speed data, RF system simulation and specification, RF and IF transistor level circuit techniques at IC or board level. A background in either data or mobile communications advantageous as is an ability to demonstrate strong theoretical and practical skills with self motivation and an ability to work independently. This is a contract position for approximately 6 to 8 weeks with the possibility of extensions or a permanent role at the end of the contract, depending on workloads and projects. Located in Sheffield.
