Off-Site Support Engineer to work for a company specialising in design, development, supply and support of sonars and related systems for surface ships, submarines, aircraft, torpedoes, mine warfare and weismic systems. You will work as a member of the Off-Site team to provide support for all activities for both domestic and export customers to include defect investigation, rectification and repair, installation, STW, acceptance trials (HAT, SAT and MHSA) and development trials and to prepare material for and to conduct training courses for various export customers. Applicants must have 4 years electronics test or diagnostics down to component level preferably covering both digital and analogue to 35 MHz; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; good communications skills; can work extended periods in the UK or overseas, often at short notice, and occasionally shift patterns if required and have a minimum HNC Electronics or Degree in Electronics. This is a permanent role
