This company enjoys the reputation of being a world leader in the design and manufacture of microprocessor based electric motor control systems for battery powered vehicles. These control systems are used as the nerve centre of an electric vehicle, performing speed control, system integration, functionality, and efficiency operations. Due to unprecedented success they require a Software Engineer to work on developing new and existing control apparatus.
The role includes implementing CAN/CANopen on a range of products and writing vehicle control software (real time embedded in C/C++). Responsibilities include the supervision of junior engineers/technicians and ensuring all work/documentation is carried out to quality standards. You should be well educated to at least degree level with 2 years post-graduate experience (preferably in the automotive industry or process control equipment design).
