My client is a global British success story. A £multi-million business with design and manufacturing operations throughout the UK, and part of a larger global group. Working full-time at their Client's site in Tyne & Wear, they currently seek a Senior Manager to be employed in a dual role of managing On-Site Service Operations coupled with increasing and developing business levels in conjunction with the Key Account Manager.
This is a senior role with responsibility of providing strong leadership and direction to the On-Site team for the effective looking after of the managed services of the parts cleaning of components that are used to fabricate semiconductor ICs. This includes the on-time delivery of equipment and materials, installation of equipment and services, all in-line with customer agreements. This role will have 5 x Team Leaders directly reporting and you will be expected to conceive and implement strategic plans.
You will need to be educated to degree level in a chemical, physics, electrical, or mechanical subject with 10 years experience in a semiconductor process related industry (or similar) with 5 years department/section management. Your experience should cover at least 3 of the following: high vacuum equipment, chemical distribution equipment, gases delivery equipment, gases and chemicals logistics, and parts clean operations.
