Our client is the leading international heat treatment, surface engineering and materials testing group.
They currently have a vacancy for an experienced Project Manager to join their Materials Engineering Division.
You will be responsible for managing the fatigue and fracture testing and analysis of materials, components and artefacts. Clients are international and mainly from the aerospace industry. You will work as part of a team on projects ranging from one-off testing to long term fatigue and fracture analysis.
The Role
# Design and carry out fatigue and fracture testing experiments on various aerospace materials.
# Write and present your findings and analysis to clients.
# Manage the project and be responsible for client relationships.
# Be commercailly aware, understanding the financial pressures a commercial testing lab face.
# Be responsible and pro active, focused on meeting customer deadlines.
