Software Engineers. West Yorkshire. North East. C++ RTOS Embedded C programming.
We are seeking key individuals to join the existing software team engaged in the development of advanced electronics systems for the Defence and Homeland Security markets.
The purpose of this role is to design, develop and support software within the engineering department. The role will include, but not be limited to, the design and development of:
Windows applications used for the automated testing of complex electronic systems and components.
Embedded software for use within new products being developed to expand the company?s existing product lines.
Software to demonstrate the capabilities of new and existing products.
The successful candidate will be an accomplished Software engineer with experience within a similar role with some of the following:
Proven ability of using Visual C++
Proven experience of Embedded C Programming
Knowledge and experience of Real Time Operating Systems
Knowledge and experience of Object-Orientated Analysis and Design
UML 2.0
SQL Server database design & management experience
Knowledge and experience of embedded systems development.
Detailed knowledge of digital RF engineering
Experience of automated equipment control
BSc/MSc in relevant subject e.G. Software/electronics/communications/engineering
