An experienced Engineer to provide structural design support to the highways and rail teams. Must be capable of leading a small team of junior staff and the desire to grow and develop a larger and broader based structural team. Main duties: designs (all stages). Supervision and management of junior staff. Programme and budgetary control. Scheme preparation all stages (feasibility to tender). Preparation of contract documentation/reports etc. Inspection, Assessment and structures maintenance.
Minimum 2 year post charter status. BSc (Hons) Civil/Structural Engineer; chartered (ICE or IstructE). Must have experience of the design of UK highway structures to highways agency standards and use of support software. A flexible approach and a commitment to excellence is also a prerequisite.
