Embedded WiFi software contractor to help implement an embedded WiFi product, particularly to port an existing WiFi driver solution to run on a RTOS, integrate the driver with a TCP/IP stack and demonstrate the complete system for a company working on developing short range wireless products, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and ZigBee. Duties include working with the rest of the development team to integrate the completed communications platform with the rest of the system and then proving the finished product. You must have a good knowledge of C / C and programming in the Windows environment (using Visual Studio); at least 5 years experience of developing and testing software for real time embedded systems; development of WiFi device drivers in an embedded environment; experience of implementing software using a current RTOS; an understanding of communications protocols and serial interfaces, to include the TCP/IP, AT command protocol and RS-232 communications and ideally experience on
