Software Processes Control Engineer to support implementation of tools (e.g., ClearCase, ClearQuest), contribute to process control and improvement, ensure optimum performance of existing tools including tracking / publication of usage and performance metrics and to evaluate, select and deploy new tools. You must have experience of software development life-cycle, including the design of real-time embedded software in the telecoms industry using C / C . Preference given to candidates with experience in the mobile communications, working on digital mobiles (GSM, DCS, etc). Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics or related or equivalent period of industrial experience, strong analytical and logical thinking, exp in Rational ClearCase, software tools and PERL, Visual Basic or Unix Shell Script, software design and development in Real-Time Software, Microprocessor-based Embedded Systems, Multi-Tasking Systems and Comms Protocols. Permanent role. Salary according to ability.
