Stress Engineer F&DT urgently required foir a 1 year contract in the Isle of Wight.
To perform Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis to define client methodologies in agreed time scales to cost and quality in line with programme objectives. To produce structured work files, technical memos and technical reports.
Extensive experience of Fatigue and Damage Tolerance methodologies and analysis techniques to FAR/JAR 25.571 requirements
Experience of DAMTOL software would be an advantage
Various projects but initially wing spar
Must have at least 4 years plus F&DT Stress Analysis experience. Mathcad and excel experience
Must have a background on aircraft wingbox structures
