Our Client is a leading provider of data storage test systems and network technology. They have over 20 years experience in disk drive development, storage systems and high-speed communication protocols.
Currently they urgently require a highly motivated Senior Mechanical Development Engineer to be 'hands-on' and lead a servo/mechanical team in developing test equipment that incorporates precision mechanics with sub-nanometer positional accuracy. Your technical portfolio should include 3D CAD modelling in Unigrahics (or equivalent), any knowledge of FEA or stress dynamics would be beneficial. Qualification wise, you will need to hold a degree(or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering coupled with 5yrs post-graduate experience, of which 2yrs should be in a technical lead/project management role.
