GSM Radio Resource Engineer

This Client originally made its name known throughout the wireless industry by pioneering and commercializing CDMA wireless technology and is now leading the world in the development of 3G standards. Their approaches are both innovative and pace setting in developing these chipsets.
Due to unprecedented success they are now in need of a Software Engineer to join the GSM/GPRS Radio Resource Team. Initially the role will require analysis of log reports from the field and developing software fixes (in C) to resolve bugs found between interoperability of wireless handsets and the network. The position will evolve to include new product Radio Resource development.
You should have several years of experience in this field coupled with the use of protocol test equipment and C programming. Preferably a degree qualification in engineering (or similar) is desired.
