Our client is the global leader in the supply of automated systems to the pharmaceutical and life science industries. Working within their Customer Services Group, the main focus of this role is to provide on-site and remote engineering support for our clients automation products in Europe and the US. Responsibilities * First and second line support to our customers, including faultfinding and rectification. * Installation and commissioning * Customer operator and maintenance training * Maintaining customers status documentation and fault-finding data * Providing customer feedback to the project teams * The development and implementation of planned maintenance and service schedules You will; * Have a minimum of 5 years experience of working in a test or service/support environment * Have gained knowledge of a high-tech engineering or manufacturing company, using capital equipment or special purpose machines. * Have excellent spoken (and ideally written) French or Spanish or German language skills * Have proven problem-solving and customer-facing skills. * Possess the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels and establish sound relationships with team members and customers * Ideally be qualified to HND level in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering This role will therefore require flexibility and a willingness to work away from home, travel overseas, as and when necessary, and will require being on call out of normal office hours and at weekends, on a rota basis.
