Our Client originally made its name known throughout the wireless industry by pioneering and commercializing CDMA wireless technology and is now leading the world in the development of 3G standards. Their approaches are both innovative and pace setting in developing these IC chipsets.
Due to unprecedented success they are now in need of Software Applications Engineers to participate in pre and post sales technical support relating to software issues for chipset customers. This will involve developing solutions for wireless applications and presenting/training these to the customer. As well as resolving both technical issues, and support (e.g. developing application notes, technical documentation).
To be considered you should hold a degree in a relevant field (Electronics or Software Engineering) with 2 yrs post-graduate experience of real-time software development and debugging for embedded products (using C) for mobile comms protocols (GSM/GPRS/WCDMA). It is also imperative that you have good communication and interpersonal skill for customer facing. The role will offer exciting opportunities for travel, both UK and overseas.
