Graduate Mechanical Engineer/Metallurgist ERA’s Engineering Consultancy Services group is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer/Metallurgist to join its team of specialists providing consultancy support to our UK and international refinery, petrochemical and utilities sector clients. Initially you would be responsible for the performance of identified tasks within projects and would gain field experience to ultimately assume complete responsibility for individual projects/site operations requiring mechanical and/or metallurgical input. As well as working on technically challenging projects you will assist in the development of new business opportunities by preparing and costing proposals. A knowledge of power stations, chemical processing or refinery equipment would be an advantage, but is not a prerequisite. You will need a degree in mechanical engineering or metallurgy. We would consider a new graduate or a graduate with limited practical experience with a view to their attaining CEng status. The role may entail occasional overseas travel.
