Our client is a dynamic and expanding company, employing over 2,200 staff to provide the full scope of infrastructure services to clients in the rail industry. It is unique in its complete focus on multi-disciplinary rail infrastructure work. The company delivers turnkey projects, renewals work, asset management and a variety of framework contracts. Their framework contracts with Network Rail involve some of Network Rail’s most significant investment projects, such as the National Track Renewals programme, Signalling improvement projects and multi-functional consultancy commissions. Their clients include Network Rail, ScotRail, London Underground, Glasgow Underground, Local Authorities, private depot and sidings companies and freight companies. Regional offices are located in London, York, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow, supported by depots throughout the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a senior structural design engineer to be based in their office in Manchester. Ideally you will have experience of bridge design although it is specifically structural design that is important. Must be able to lead a team of 4-5 engineers and draughtsmen. The salary level would be 40-45k.
