Our client is a leading international Investment Casting company, specializing in directionally solidified and single crystal casting of turbine blades and rotating parts for aerospace and industrial gas turbines (IGT).
They have 3 vacancies for engineers with experience of investment casting:
- manufacturing methods, tooling design and product design.
- product management, workflow and problem resolution.
- quality control, quality engineering and statistical process control (SPC).
- casting process optimisation and efficiency.
Candidates should have at least a HNC in Mechanical or Materials Engineering. Apprentice and foundry technology (Chesterfield College) backgrounds are especially suitable.
The vacancies will in either the Product Engineering section or Process Engineering section dependant on previous experience. The vacancies require previous investment casting experience and all candidates with previous experience will be considered.
For the positions we are looking for good analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems and deliver results. You will be a genuine team player who thrives on challenges in a dynamic and stimulating work environment.
The package includes performance related pay, occupational pension scheme, 28 days holiday per annum and relocation assistance.
Location: Exeter, UK
Salary: to GBP28,000 dependant on experience
