An innovative, vibrant and award winning global company producing and selling distributed control systems (dcs), supervisory process control and instrumentation. My client is a true global player with a presence in over 30 countries and they offer a vast array of measure and control solutions from simple, single component technologies through to complete, bespoke systems.
Due to continuous growth in the company, they are now looking for an Engineering Supervisor to oversee all project activity and have overall management of the Project Engineering operation, particularly from a resource management perspective. To ensure that quality standards are implemented and adhered to and that all projects are engineered in accordance with company procedures. Managing and assisting the sales support team with proposals, tender documents and bid submissions. Providing cost-effective solutions to existing customers and identifying new business, this role will involve multi-tasking and supplier liaison when necessary.
Advantageous will be some experience in recruitment as you will have the responsibility for allocating engineers to appropriate sites and hiring further engineers when there is requirement. Knowledge of EPC companies is essential and candidates with strong soft skills will be especially prized for this role. There will be an element of reporting to measure success on a monthly basis.
