Senior Electronics Engineer for permanent role in South Wales for data acquisition company. GBP28k - GBP40k and degree qualified, your duties will include system design and preparation of proposals, plan and manage development, spec, design and develop hardware, lead projects and contribute to quality improvement and process development. You must have several years’ electronic design experience with responsibility for part of a larger project, medium speed / high resolution data acquisition, high speed micros / DSPs, standard interfacing ICs; RS232 drivers, ADCs, DACs, I2C, etc, battery powered equipment design, inc. battery chargers, switch mode power supplies, low level analogue design; interfacing circuitry, signal filter design; piezoelectrics, accelerometers, transducers, EMC, ESD, LVD approvals, CAD (Protel preferred), layout of multi-layer high speed digital PCBs, RF appreciation, surface mount soldering of prototypes, prototype test and validation, design documentation, etc.
