Senior RF IC Designer to lead design of complex analogue radio integrated circuits on CMOS and BiCMOS processes. Design / develop complete radio / wireless products from radio integrated circuits to wireless terminal equipment and complete wireless systems. Develop specs and architectures for radio integrated circuits; design advanced radio ICs; supervise layout and back-end processes for complete radio ICs; participate in sales meetings; prepare and contribute to proposals and quotations. You must have 7 years exp. as RF IC designer for a telecoms company, have extensive exp. of RF circuit and system design. Be familiar with defining architecture of radio systems on ICs to analyse performance of systems. A good knowledge of RF and IC CAD tools as well as the traditional chart-based tools. The ideal candidate would have exp. in one or more of: synthesiser and PLL design; ADC design; LNA design; ability to work with digital signal processing and modem designers. Salary iro GBP50k.
