To develop and maintain embedded software for Bluetooth devices, coding in C and assembler. The devices have a 16-bit microcontroller and in some cases, an embedded DSP. This role will include re-factoring and market driven enhancements to embedded Bluetooth communications software stack. You will be responsible for the development of on-chip embedded software. This will include the full software development life cycle from initial specification and definition through to delivery and maintenance, maintenance of upper stack layers on-chip, extension of on-chip environment to use new firmware features including documentation and simple examples, Bluetooth upper stack layers. You must have 3 years of embedded software development experience, experience of development in 'C' on embedded RISC processors, within a Unix development environment, and ideally some hardware experience, experience of communication protocols, Bluetooth, knowledge of Perl or similar. You will be degree qualified.
