DSP / Signal Processing Engineer to develop RF based sensing systems (radar / location and positioning) using wireless communications technology extending to sensor fusion with image processing devices, based around advanced signal processing. There will also be opportunities to work in extracting information from complex signals in a range of more general measurement applications especially in the field of optical sensing systems. You will work on the design of DSP algorithms for imaging, detection and sensing systems, and implementation in hardware and/or embedded software. You will have a good degree ideally with PhD in signal processing or related discipline; knowledge and experience of application of Bayesian Inference in processing systems; experience in algorithm design ideally in a DSP environment; implementation in hardware or software, ideally in DSP systems; excellent mathematical skills, 2 years working in industry or in a postgraduate environment. Salary GBP35k - GBP45k.
