Power Products Group design electrical products for high volume manufacture inc. consumer appliances, precision surgical tools and electric vehicle drives. Lead role in planning, proposal generation, client liaison, manage team of 2 - 6 and hands-on product development. Good first degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline and 3 yrs industrial exp. in product development, with proven ability to manage. Creative approach to problem solving and concept generation, appreciation of engineering analysis in product development and hands-on exp. of 3D CAD, rapid prototyping, some FEA / CFD. Exp. of product development in consumer product or automotive industries useful, inc. high volume manufacturing processes, electromechanical technology and six sigma quality systems.
