Senior RF System Architect to lead the complete development cycle from preparing the specs to hand-over to volume production. The client develops telecommunications, healthcare, consumer goods and automotive products (including DECT, Bluetooth, cellular radio telemetry, etc.) You will be responsible for: leading major programmes as Chief Engineer and supervising design of circuits to component, participating in sales meetings; preparing and contributing to proposals and quotations. You must have 7 years experience as radio designer for a telecoms company and have extensive experience of RF circuit and system design. You will be familiar with defining architecture of radio systems to analyse transmitter / receiver performance; matching of RF amplifier stages; stability / noise figure analysis. You should have good knowledge of CAD tools as well as the traditional chart-based tools. Synthesiser and PLL design; Filter design; Antenna design in the GHz region. Salary iro GBP50k
