Engineering Group Leader - circa 50k + Car + Bonus + Benefits

An innovative market leader with a worldwide presence. My client specialises in the manufacture of process control and instrumentation solutions for the Oil & Gas and Pharmaceutical Industries.
Due to continuous growth, they are now looking for an Engineering Group Leader with experience of providing solutions to the Pharmaceutical Industry to manage a group of professional engineering staff (typically between 3 & 10 people who may be permanent employees or contract staff). The successful candidate will ensure that methods, techniques, tools and resource management matters are aligned with the company standards and in compliance with quality/safety procedures. Providing leadership and direction, guidance and peer reviews, the successful candidate will need to assign staff to projects, giving training setting objectives and developing strategic performance plans for their team. Planning future resource requirements, encouraging and leading by example to implement business plans by agreed deadlines. Identifying and planning training courses. This role is to manage a group of professional engineers effectively and this Engineering Group Leader will not, themselves, be assigned to projects.
You will have a degree/HNC in an engineering discipline.
Preferably with approximately 10 years in a Senior Control Engineering position with line management skills.
You must have a Pharmaceutical sector background.
You may be from a Controls company providing solutions to Pharmaceutical companies.
