This is a senior level position for physical design engineers with 8+ years experience, your role will include design specification, project planning, silicon technology evaluation and selection, and physical design project execution (floor planning and partitioning, top level and block creation, physical synthesis, clock tree generation, routing, timing closure, Signal Integrity avoidance, analysis and repair, and manufacturing verification). You will work as both an individual contributor as well as a project leader. Frequent interfacing with customers and management is required. In addition, you will contribute to enhancing the production flows and methodologies of the group. Following technical experience is essential - Intimate knowledge of the tools, flows and methodologies required to execute a physical design project. Must have recent experience of all or at least some of the following; Apollo, Astro, Hercules & Star. Successful completion of 4+ physical design projects as a senior technical contributor through to tape out at 0.18um or below.
