Operating globally in Oil & Gas, Chemical & Pharmaceutical markets my client is a leading provider of APC and MES technology solutions. They have a substantive installed base and client list that is the envy of the industry. They have a focus towards Advanced Process Control, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Manufacturing Simulation and Batch Processing (ISA S88 and S95). They employ some of the industries brightest individuals especially in terms of Project Delivery Managers, Senior Engineers and Pre-Sales Consultants. They are always interested to talk to candidates that have a blend of industrial DCS and systems software implementation skills (APC, instrumentation, ERP, SCADA) gained in automation and process control environments especially Batch Processing. Some understanding of SQL, Oracle, GAMP and EBRS would also be highly beneficial.
They are currently seeking an increased APC prescence in the UK and west Europe focussing on consultancy, project delivery and project management of APC and DCS related projects. Contributing to all phases of Advanced Process Control Projects this will include discussing plant operation with management and operations staff, reviewing plant instrumentation with panel operators and resolving basic, underlying control issues during the initial phase. Successful applicants should be a Graduate Chemical/Process/Control Engineer with 5 to 10 years experience of implementing advanced process control projects. Knowledge of refining, petrochemical or polymers units is essential and you must be confident communicating with all levels. There is a travel aspect to the role most being projects in the UK and Western Europe.
