GSM, GPRS, 3GPP, RAN, LTE, Femtocells
This Client is a large global electronics company and a major player in the GSM/3G mobile phone industry.
Main Tasks:
Capture of requirements for Femtocell solutions(Requirements from our customer as well as the European market place.)
Perform system architecture and design impact analysis of new communications features and functional requirements in the area of CPE and Femtocells.
Provide technical consultancy and expertise to the project, the department and to customers as required
Key Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of GSM, GPRS, 3G, LTE or other communications systems operation (i.E. WiFi, WiMAX etc).
Extensive experience with protocol stack architecture and software for mobile communications products.
Strong knowledge of a protocol stack system and its associated physical layer (i.E. GSM, GPRS, 3G, LTE, WiMAX etc)
Detailed and working knowledge of an Industry Standard and its standardization process (i.E. One of the following 3GPP - RAN/SA/CT, OMA, ETSI, ITU, TISPAN, WiMax Forum, etc)
