This Client originally made its name known throughout the wireless industry by pioneering and commercializing CDMA wireless technology and is now leading the world in the development of 3G standards. Their approaches are both innovative and pace setting in developing these chipsets.
Due to unprecedented success they are now in need of a GPRS IOT Systems Engineer to participate in Interoperability Testing at infrastructure vendor labs, operators labs, and in the field. This will require an embedded software (C/C++) development / test background for digital cellular (GSM/GPRS etc.). Knowledge of relevant protocols/air interfaces and usage of test equipment with fault diagnosis obtained from test results data.
The role will offer an exciting opportunity for travel including both UK and European coupled with commercial customer interaction.
