My client is a major player in the Mechanical Systems and Industrial Automation market servicing the products and service needs of a number of process industries. In particular they service the Food, FMCG and Pharmaceutical manufacturing sectors with a variety of mechanical products, capital equipment solutions, pumps, homogenisers and control systems. They employ a number of Technical Sales Engineers and Account Managers with a background in mechanical sales or automation sales into the food or pharmaceutical manufacturing sectors. Whilst someone living in Surrey, Sussex, Berkshire or Middlesex would be well positioned for this role equally we are very happy to consider candidates in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, London and Essex.
We seek to identify an experienced Account Manager / Technical Sales Engineer with a least 5 years experience selling either systems, products or after market services into automation, process control or control systems environments. Focussing on the Food, Brewing, Dairy and Pharmaceutical sectors you will continue to develop market intelligence, maintain existing key relationships, develop new business, broaden your contact base and seek to promote a number of products, systems and after sales services to leading industrial and manufacturing customers.
Successful candidates will have sold technology hardware or machinery into the food, FMCG or Pharmaceutical sectors and at least a basic understanding of the process control & automation environment. Strongly preferred is a background in either mechanical equipment sales into the FMCG or Food sector OR automation product sales, automation systems, PLC's, SCADA, HMI, or industrial controls systems (into Food or Pharmaceutical). Also candidates with experience selling valves, capital equipment, heat exchangers, pumps, homogenisers or conveying systems into the Food or FMCG sector are highly desirable. Sales Engineer candidates with an understanding of mechanical product sales into the Food, Brewery or Dairy sectors are also very welcome to apply.
Base salary to £38k + up to 30% OTE + car + 25 days holiday and benefits
