Our client is a global electronic OEM who is known for their high quality products which are made to exacting standards.
As one of the most innovative and dynamic companies in their industry, our partners are making further significant investments in their product portfolio. To facilitate these developments they now seek a Development Technician.
Role:
To assist design engineers in all aspects of building, testing and proving products in development, which would include functional, environmental and EMC testing.
To develop close working relationships with design engineers and work as part of the development teams.
To support new products in development process by undertaking more of the activities normally associated with design engineers.
Skills:
To understand circuit schematics, identify basic circuit functions and explain in basic terms how they work.
To be able to use and make measurements with the use of lab equipment such as multi-meters, frequency meters, oscilloscopes and others.
