An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator to join my client who are a rapidly expanding technology firm involved in power supply and management. My client have been established for nearly ten years and have offices in UK, Ireland and Europe and they currently have turnover of £10 million and wish to continue their growth pattern.
The cost estimator will assist in Bid Management, producing Proposals and Tenders from their Hampshire base. My client have become a single point of contact in supplying well designed and correctly executed power solutions incorporating Generators, UPS systems, DC systems, switchgear and software. The Estimator role is based in their UK office in North Hampshire and will take responsibility for the accurate and timely production of tenders for all business projects ensuring that the company maintains a competitive edge and assured margins.
You should have previous mechanical and electrical estimating experience ideally within a building service environment, preferably on power supply systems, controls and switchgear and ideally dealing with projects in excess of £1 million. You will be capable of producing tenders from drawings and specification and have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
