This is a rare opportunity to join a new and exciting fabless semiconductor company that is developing breakthrough processor technology initially to be targetted at the wireless market. Applicants are required to join the toolchain team, youre tasked with creating a suite of programming tools and libraries for a new, complex processor. You will have several years experience in porting programming tools, especially gnu compliant, to a new architecture: compiler, assembler, linker, libraries. Industrial experience in a chip company making processors, rather than a software house and familiarity with SIMD/VLIW DSPs and DSP coding would be desirable.
