Our client is one of the world's largest manufacturers of components, modules and subsystems for optical networks. They are now searching for a Test Engineering Manager to lead test-engineering staff, including objective setting, performance management, training and development. Management of agreed projects covering continuous improvement, cost reduction and new test capabilities will be required.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Excellent test background (opto / IC), within a high volume environment
- Optical product knowledge beneficial
- Knowledge of quality principles including ISO9001 standards
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with upper management
- BSc. degree in engineering, physics or related
