This major top 10 semiconductor manufacturer seeks an additional Distribution Account to support their continued drive within the European distribution segment. The person will be ideally located in the Midlands or North West (Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds etc).
Duties include expanding sales whilst maintaining, and where possible, increasing profitability for the distribution segment in the defined territory (UK & Eire) and nominated accounts. Promoted the complete range of semiconductors and displays. The role will include the formulation, strategy, introduction, measurement of distribution programmes and policies together with forecasting, quote analysis and "Share of Mind" with the distributors and end customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Day to day management of assigned Distributors
Manage existing multi-million pound business
Be the front line sales contact to all levels within assigned Distributor and end customers
Establish (new) and maintain (existing) relationships with all key personnel within assigned Distributor and end customers
Promote and establish our client as a vendor of choice within the Distributor. Identify and secure new design slots.
Oversee distribution ordering trends and business development
Managing contracts, reviews and budgets associated with the Distributor
Develop and implement progams to achieve - distribution training, sales tools and macro.
Candidates are likely to be technically qualified with knowledge of semiconductor distribution. In addition you will require excellent inter-personal skills, ability to communicate, and be comfortable with, all levels across all groups - socially as well as within the business environment.
