A worldwide manufacturer of electronic interconnect products is currently looking to recruit an Account Manager covering the South West and Wales due to an internal promotion. The company is primarily concerned with winning new business via technical design-in opportunities across all professional electronic markets, reaching through to the 2nd and 3rd tier customers.
The main focus will be the design in of the company's portfolio of products to distribution accounts. The position requires high levels of self motivation and you will ideally be a driven, resilient character capable of consistently achieving a good number of customer visits and new design opportunities. You should have an inquisitive, technical aptitude and a background ideally in the electronic or electro mechanical components market. Experience of selling into distribution or experience of working for a distributor is also required.
