<p>Our client is a company that designs and develops proprietary, analog-intensive, mixed-signal ICs for the rapidly growing communications industry. Due to a recent expansion in product offering, they now have an urgent need for an RF Field Applications Engineer.<BR><BR><p>Primary activities for this position will include providing RF technical product support at the RF system and component level. The RF applications engineer will be responsible for; assisting in the development of new standard and custom RF IC products, developing data sheets and application notes and representing the customer's interests to the company's sales, marketing, design and manufacturing groups. Duties will also include designing evaluation boards, low-level programming and writing technical specifications. <BR><BR><p>Responsibilities <BR><li>Serve as technical interface to the customer. <BR><li>Design evaluation boards and create support documentation. These boards provide a platform for customers to evaluate client's product. <BR><li>Work with 3rd parties to ensure that evaluation boards are manufactured and available. <BR><li>Provide the sales force and FAE's with technical support. <BR><BR><p>Qualifications <BR><li>MSEE or BSEE plus 3 years RF design/product experience <BR><li>1-3 years RF design/product experience <BR><li>Strong written and verbal communication & presentation skills <BR><li>Strong debugging skills <BR><BR><p>The ideal candidate will have experience of PAs and GSM. It is likely that you will have worked for a Mobile Handset OEM. Expect extensive European travel (40%).
