RS Components, part of the Electrocomponents Group is a world class leader in the marketing and distribution of electronic, electrical and industrial supplies. Due to continued success this exciting pivotal role for a Territory Sales Manager covering Edinburgh has arisen within their MRO (Maintenance Repair and Operations) division.
The primary function of this Territory Sales Manager role is to work with a specified account base. You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, developing trust is a vital ingredient to the success of this role, you will need to win share of mind and influence the trading behaviour to increase productivity and thus, profitability. You will also be required to find new contacts in new and existing customers; to expand the range of products purchased by these contacts through targeted product presentations.
You will be able to demonstrate your success at developing new and existing accounts and maximising every opportunity that presents itself. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently is a must. Ideally you will be educated in related subject however this is not a prerequisite. And electrical / mechanical background is essential.
