Have you experience of strategic product marketing to mobile comms (handset) companies on a worldwide basis? Can you own a semiconductor product line? Can you commute to, or relocate to, either Edinburgh or Swindon?
Expansion within the marketing department of this semiconductor company has created the need for an additional worldwide Product Line Manager with particular focus on the mobile comms sector to take responsibility for product / device strategy, growth, development and financial performance within the product marketing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
?Product marketing responsibilities for product family / group.
?Revenue growth & margin responsibilities - agree, set and achieve key financial targets on an annual and quarterly basis
?Product lifecycle management.
?Responsibility for all business case and product investment proposals, and development of Market Requirements Document (MRD) for new products within the group.
?New product revenue and margin performance versus original business case.
?Roadmap development and strategy.
?Single point of contact within HQ for all products in the product line, including product pricing and quotes, product schedules, new product delivery issues, competitive. Positioning and analysis, product roadmaps.
?Go to market plans generation, value propositions, sales collateral management and generation for all new products within product line.
CANDIDATE SKILLS
?Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in electronics or similar (highly preferred)
?Semiconductor marketing experience - preferably strategic as well as tactical.
?Ideally an understanding of the Consumer or Mobile Comms market (Handsets, Sat Nav, Digital TV and STB).
?Excellent relationship management ability.
?Strong communication/presentation skills.
?Capacity to identify customer's key technical criteria for product choice.
?Analytical, accurate, flexible, open minded, ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time works independent, takes initiative.
?A good Negotiator at all levels. Flexible to substantial travel in the region.
?Fluent English is mandatory (other language skills are desirable).
Office Location: Preferably Edinburgh or Swindon.
