Our client based in West Yorkshire is a distributor of electronic and electrical components and products. They are one of the world's leading catalogue distributors of electronic components 120,000 lines through more than 75 countries.
They urgently require an enthusiastic Technical Support (Electronics) to support internal and external sales teams, and to provide a efficient and accurate cross referencing service to their customers.
The role will involve:
- Providing efficient and accurate response to cross referencing requests from internal and external customers.
- Cross referencing competitor and manufacturers part numbers from quotes and Bills of Materials.
- Identify suitable client products from product descriptions received.
- Maintain and update cross-referencing databases.
Candidates will have a degree in Electronics and a knowledge and understanding of the applications of industrial and electronic components. The ability to work quickly and accurately, and prioritise their own workload. Good communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
