This established instrumentation company have an opportunity for an experienced software engineer with over 5 years hands-on experience in real-time control embedded C/C++ design.
You should have knowledge of realtime operating systems and an understanding of hardware design and interfacing. Ideally this will have been gained from a background in image analysis, high speed industrial machines, cameras, bank note recognition, optical inspection or a related area.
It is important that you also have some software testing experience, perhaps in the development of software test specifications. Note that this is NOT a pure software test role.
If you have additional skills in Coldfire processors that would be advantageous, as would experience of the following: assembler, TCP/IP, EtherNet, Atmel micros, 68000, Win32, WindowsCE, VxWorks.
