My client are a global telecomms infrastructure company who's core business areas are, Cellular, Broadcast and Broadband. They currently require a number of Project Managers to join there expanding Broadcast team.
Job Purpose
To Manage Broadcast installation Projects overall delivery from project handover to completion/handover, managing the planning and implementation, Financial, labour and plant resources necessary to deliver the project to budget and profit objectives.
To work in line with business stream operational methodologies, performance expectations and resource management strategy, and coordinate with support functions such as Finance, QSE, HR & Commercial.
Requirements / Competencies
Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline
Minimum of 4 years operations experience is essential, preferably in a service industry
Minimum of 2 years Broadcast / Telecoms experience is essential
Man-management experience and ability to develop the skill sets of subordinate team
In-depth knowledge & understanding of market/product and manufacturing and service Quality.
Financial and commercial acumen including excellent knowledge of P&L management, costing, budgeting, pricing, forecasting and reporting.
Customer facing, good negotiation and influencing skills
IT literate
Project Management experience is essential
Experience of undertaking projects to deadlines is essential.
Experience of compliance with current H & S regulations and related procedures.
Understanding of ISO 9000 based effective Business Management Systems.
