will have good working knowledge of C++ and experience of image processing of single (i.e. not video) grey-scale images. Ideal candidates will be able to recognise a FIR filter (e.g. Sobel) and understand how differentiation and smoothing can be combined. You should be familiar with Gaussian noise and how to reduce it. Some understanding of statistics will help.
The job is a mixture of mathematics (developing algorithms) and implementation in C++, so experience is important.
