Firmware Design Engineer, Devon, real-time, embedded, C, assembler, micros, Visual Basic, VB,NET, C#, SourceSafe
QUALIFICATIONS:
HND/Degree EE/SW Engineering.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
The candidate must have excellent 'C' and Assembler programming skills, and be able to demonstrate experience working with embedded architectures running real time control systems. Experience with 8051, PIC18, Atmel AVR, Renesas H8 and ARM architectures is highly desirable.
The position requires a sound understanding of digital and analogue circuit theory and design and familiarity with the use of test and debugging tools such as in-circuit debuggers, emulators, logic analysers and oscilloscopes.
Experience of application development using Microsoft VB6, VB.Net and C# languages is desirable as is familiarity with source control tools such as CVS, Accurev and Microsoft Visual SourceSafe.
