Electronic Design Engineer, Devon, digital, analog, simulation, verification, Matlab, PSpice, opto
There is an opportunity for a Design & Development Engineer with proven experience in high performance analogue & digital design to:
1. Work as part of an extended R&D team, to help develop products and apply consideration to the cost and manufacturability implications of the design solution.
2. Simulate functional blocks of the design to demonstrate performance compliance to spec, and de-risk product deliverables (costs, timescales and customer engagement).
3. Carry out verification testing, apply data analysis and identify yield optimization opportunities for products.
4. Participate in cross-functional design reviews to critique design solutions.
5. Work closely with the Product Engineering function to manage the smooth transition of product to manufacture.
Requirements:
Degree or equivalent experience in physics, electronic engineering, or closely related discipline.
Experience in using MatLab, P-Spice, ADS or other simulation tools would be advantageous.
